What I know now

When I first trained as a personal stylist, I thought the most important part of the job would be knowing how to put a great look together. I still love that part, obviously, but after years of working with women, I know now that it is not what makes the biggest difference.

The real change happens when you stop simply being told what to wear and start being taught why something works.

Learning about your shape, proportions, colouring and the silhouettes that work for you is so much more useful than being handed a few lovely looks to copy. Once you understand those things, you can use that knowledge again and again, whether you are standing in front of your wardrobe, shopping for something new or getting dressed for an important occasion.

That belief is behind everything I have created at Envious Styling.

I offer virtual styling and in person styling because I want women to be able to access proper, personal styling support in a way that works for them. I created my style guides for women who would rather learn in their own time and keep that information to come back to whenever they need it. I also offer personal shopping for anyone who wants me right there beside them while they put that knowledge into practice.

Dress hire is a collection of my own personal picks. Dresses I have chosen because I know they work beautifully on different women, not just because they happen to be on trend.

The Envi Band began as a solution to a styling problem I kept seeing again and again. What started as a small passion project became something far bigger, and far more needed, than I could ever have imagined.

It may all look like different parts of the business, but for me it all comes back to the same thing. I want good styling education, practical help and clothes that make women feel great to be accessible to as many women as possible.
